Studio Works by Damian Tab

Studio works were an important part of Damian Tab’s practice alongside his street art.

In the studio he experimented with materials, objects, and characters that also appeared in his public works, developing them through painting, sculpture, prints, and small collectible pieces.

These works allowed Damian to explore ideas more slowly, outside the immediacy of the street.

Paintings

Damian created a wide range of paintings in the studio, often using acrylic on canvas, wood, or metal surfaces.

Many of these works expand the characters and visual motifs that appear in his street art — playful figures, surreal objects, and organic shapes that seem to exist somewhere between humor and mystery.

A surreal composition combining softness and discomfort, where familiar forms take on a strange, almost living presence. The work reflects Damian Tab’s ability to blur the line between the comforting and the unsettling.

Sculptures

Alongside painting, Damian experimented with sculpture and three dimensional forms.

He created small sculptural works using materials such as Sculpey and also explored digital techniques including 3D printing, translating his characters and visual ideas into physical objects.

The sculpture reflects Damian Tab’s thoughts about the growing fusion between humans and technology — a world where the phone becomes almost an extension of the body.

Art Prints and Stickers

Prints and stickers played an important role in Damian’s artistic language.

These works allowed his characters to travel beyond walls and surfaces, appearing as small portable artworks that could circulate between people and places. more narrative or surreal games, Burrito Rage leans heavily into humor and exaggerated mechanics. The absurdity of weaponized burritos and unpredictable races reflects Damian’s playful approach to experimentation in game design.

The game showcases another side of Damian’s creativity, where visual style, humor, and simple but engaging gameplay mechanics come together to create a lighthearted indie game experience.

Wearable Art

Damian also experimented with wearable and printed pieces, including screen printed T shirts and other small editions.

These projects continued his interest in spreading characters and visual ideas into everyday life.
